Barred Plymouth Rocks are one of America's oldest heritage breed chickens. They are excellent producers of large brown eggs, and they do well in the summer heat.
Our Heritage Barred Rocks are acquired from local exhibition lines and they feature beautiful tight barred lacing. These are much larger and more impressive than your typical hatchery bird! We are excited to offer hatching eggs from this flock!
We have won awards at our local poultry shows with this breed including 1st place cockerel, 1st place pullet, best of breed, and best of variety. Check out our awards page for pictures!

Auto Sexing Chicks
Heritage Plymouth Barred Rocks are an autosexing breed at hatch - that makes it handy for an early gender reveal without vent sexing. The males will typically have a large white spot on their head that can extend down their neck. The spot is much smaller and narrower in females.
