Black, Blue Splash Copper Marans are friendly, hardy, dual purpose birds. They are average layers of medium to dark brown eggs that may be solid or speckled. All of our flock have wonderfully fluffy feathered legs and feet. Our Marans are the friendliest chickens - they are always first to meet me in the yard. Our rooster is non-aggressive. He is protective of his ladies and friendly to his humans.
